If you wish to see a Room To Talk therapist, you will be able to use your insurance, or pay privately, out-of-pocket. You will be fully responsible for any deductibles, co-pays, late cancellations and/or anything not covered in a timely manner by your insurance. Our staff will help you verify your coverage in any way they can, but you will be expected to pay for services at each appointment.
Currently, we accept these types of insurance:
- Blue Care Network of Michigan
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Blue Cross Complete
- Priority Health
- We accept some Medicaid HMO plans, if offered by the companies listed above, but we do not accept what is often called “straight Medicaid.” If the only card that you have is a green card that was issued by the state of Michigan, then you likely have straight Medicaid. In that case, we recommend that you try The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan for lower-cost services.
Please note – Room To Talk is a wholly-own affiliate of The Women’s Center. While most Women’s Center clients are seen by graduate-level interns, all Room To Talk therapists are fully licensed and have been doing therapy for quite some time. Because the two programs operate separately, clients can be involved in only one program or the other.
